Created in the quiet moments of early motherhood, these small works are acts of softness and survival. I turned to oil pastel - an approachable and tactile medium during a time when I felt overwhelmed, sleep-deprived, and unsure of who I was becoming.

These postpartum floral studies were created in short bursts of quiet - early in the morning and late at night. The oil pastel paired with handmade cotton paper created raw edges and soft texture - fragile but strong, just like me during my postpartum era.
This series isn’t just for mothers—it’s for anyone who has moved through a season of transformation and embraced a creative process that felt accessible amidst the chaos. I hope these paintings serve as reminders that beauty doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it lives in small marks made during moments of survival and grace.
